I'm originally from New Hampshire, which I only bring up when I want to sound more outdoorsy than I am. After a couple years traveling the world to create the 36 Hours travel series for The New York Times, I came off the road to direct full time.

I’ve developed, produced, and directed commercials, films, and TV of all different styles across all different platforms. I’ve worked with diverse clients and outlets like Vogue, GQ, NPR, PBS, NBC-Universal, Hershey's, Google, Morgan Stanley, Adidas, Fanatics, Amazon, Havaianas, Bank of America, Crest, Charmin, Snyder’s of Hanover, Pampers, The Children’s Place, Lenovo, the Florida Panthers, and American Express. I’m also the co-founder of Block Party, an independent production company.

Find me @maxncantor on just about everything.

I’m a director and producer. I wrote these words and plenty of others, none of them in the third person.

(That’s not me. It’s my cousin.)
